You might have noticed your friends updating their status message which says that Facebook is going to introduce "Paid Membership" for the users which was actually proved a false rumor in less than 48 hours.My buddies were also going crazy after this rumor and started to paste that rumor message in their status message.My comment on every such update was "Grow up",I mean I can't believe people still believe that Facebook doesn't have a better source of income than starting a paid membership.I don't think people are aware of the fact that Facebook is actually a $1 Billion as on 2010 stats.Check out the facts and figures of Facebook.Starting a paid membership literally means loosing the majority of Facebook users because most of the users are teenage college going students who would rather prefer Orkut than a paid Facebook.Here I have quoted the rumor message and the clarification by Facebook on their official page.
